The One&Only Royal Mirage is probably Dubai’s most stylish beach resort,
with an ambience of Arabian influenced refinement and majesty. The resort
offers understated elegance and exclusive charm and overlooks the Arabian
Gulf with a kilometre of private coastline of the Arabian sea on Jumeira

History:
The Palace was the fist part of the Royal Mirage resort, being opened to
the public in August 1999, and was joined in December 2002 by the Arabian
Court and the Residence & Spa, thanks to the personal support from
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who offered the opportunity
to to complement the 2010 tourism vision set by the Government of Dubai.
The Palace at One&Only Royal Mirage conjures the magic of Arabia,
a domain where guests may wander amidst the abundant gardens or stroll
amongst the meandering water features. The Palace has an outstanding array
of dining venues and the Royal Ballroom caters for up to 350 guests. The
Arabian Court is crafted in the spirit of the orient with dramatic
architecture creating symmetry, amidst a landscape of fountains, walkways
and lush gardens. The Residence & Spa consists of Arabian styled
private residences each cared for by a specially selected, dedicated team

private restaurant and lounge. The Garden Villa also provides luxurious
and ornate environment within the most exclusive part of the resort.
Rooms
and Suites: The Palace has 173 guest rooms, 53 Gold Club rooms,
18 Suites and 2 Royal Suites. All rooms are sea facing, with private balcony
or terrace and adorned with ornamental arches, terracotta tiling and custom
made furniture. The vivid colours echo the warmth of the Arabian Gulf,
while the soft tones recall the desert landscape. The Arabian Court
greets guests by a reflecting pool, a water filled courtyard, that draws
the eye to the horizon and offers glimpses of the sea beyond. The subtly
angled entrance leads guests to the impressive grand gallery, the vertebrae
of the hotel that links the two wings of the property and guides guests
to the 162 charismatic guest rooms and 10 elaborately styled suites, all
of which have a sea view, private balcony or terrace. The Residence
& Spa is an intimate sanctuary for those who wish to languish in
the comfort of prosperity. The Arabian styled private residences each cared
for by a specially selected, dedicated team, house a retreat of 18 Suites
and 32 Prestige Rooms that are spacious, created with the finest detailing
and are all sea facing, with private balcony or garden patio. Charming
and enticing this elegant haven is linked to the discreet reception, private
restaurant & lounge. Last, but not least, the Garden Villa,
is nestled on the beach front and within a private garden, the Garden Villa
has an intimate shaded terrace and private temperature controlled swimming
pool.
Restaurants
and Bars: The Palace dining venues includes Olives, Tangines
and Celebrities with bar. Olives has marble-topped tables and cane chairs,
which gives the bougainvillea-covered terrace overlooking the palm-shaded
pool a Riviera coastal café feel. Tagine provides diners with a
truly Moroccan dining venue. A grand marble staircase leads into Celebrities,
the speciality restaurant that features international cuisine with a Middle
Eastern twist and a multi-level interior that overlooks the landscaped
gardens. Celebrities features a private dining room for intimate evenings.
Celebrities Bar features deep leather armchairs, great oil paintings and
beautiful antiques and has a quaint outdoor terrace interspersed with Cyprus
trees. The Kasbar is a multi levelled, multi coloured, multi alcoved
evening venue, contributes more than a touch of Arabian glamour to the
resort with bars and dance floors. The Beach Bar & Grill is
surrounded by lush gardens and golden sands, where swaying palm trees change
with the mood of the sea breeze. The Rooftop Lounge & Terrace
is the resort’s ultimate outdoor evening venue, adding variety and Arabian
character to the dining experience with a circular bar. The Samovar
Lounge is splendidly opulent with impressive high ceilings that complement
the grand gallery of the hotel lobby, offering refreshments, high teas,
speciality coffees and light snacks throughout the day and evening.
The Arabian Court
offers three stylish restaurants – The Rotisserie, Nina and Eau Zone. The
Rotisserie cuisine is based on historical recipes from Europe and Arabia
and presented with a contemporary approach. Nina is a colourful Indo-European
dining venue. Eau Zone is a place to contemplate the rhythm of ocean tides
and the setting sun, complemented by modern food with an Asian twist. The
Residence
& Spa's Dining Room offers an atrium setting in a comfortable environment.
Featuring residential cuisine that is inspired by the guest and crafted
from the richest ingredients. The Library complements The Dining Room and
offers the ideal sanctuary for quiet reflection and pre or post mealtime
beverages.
Sport
and Spa: The Royal Mirage resort is generous, a private abode on the
beach that offers rich leisure facilities, such as the impressive temperature
controlled swimming pools, the water sports centre, tennis courts, golf
putting green, children’s facilities and most importantly a tranquil haven
for rest and relaxation, amidst the abundant scented gardens and meandering
water features. Within the elegant entrance courtyard of the Residence
& Spa, one will find the Health & Beauty Institute. Architecturally
impressive and reminiscent of the great buildings of the region, towering
domes, carved arches and the intricate design, it captures the values of
the environs. The 2000 square metre space is divided over two levels and
offers on the upper floor Givenchy Spa with an ornate reception, twelve
private treatment room. The Oriental Hammam offers a traditional heated
marble massage table, two steam rooms, two Jacuzzi’s, two private massage
rooms, plunge shower and a whirlpool in the resting area.
