At Jasper Littman we specialise in one thing only - bespoke and semi bespoke suits measured, fitted and delivered by our visiting tailors. Our philosophy is to tailor suits that will fit you infinitely better than anything you can buy off the peg. As we don't have an expensive Savile Row showroom, we don't incur the huge costs involved. We can pass those savings on to you. 

For example a semi bespoke two-piece suit in super 100's wool purchased from a Savile Row store would usually cost between £895 and £1500. A Jasper Littman suit in the same fabric would cost £699. Using the finest English fabrics, our tailor made suits are created exclusively in England. Our bespoke tailors visit at a location convenient to you, office or home, and have over 10 years of Savile Row experience. 

Visiting Service:
Our tailors have learnt their trade in organisations such as Gieves & Hawkes, Burberry, Daks Simpson, Kilgour and Aquascutum and have at least 10 years of tailoring experience. Our suits are cut and tailored in England using the finest English milled fabrics to create the quintessentially classic English suit.

Many of our clients have busy work and social lives and find it difficult (and not altogether enjoyable) to make time for shopping in Savile Row. The visiting tailor service allows you to put time aside when it is convenient for you either at home or at work. The visit can be discreetly scheduled in between meetings, at lunchtime or at the end of the day.

Our tailors can give you the uninterrupted attention and time, so often short in retail environments, to find out what the suit is for, what will suit you and any special requirements you may have.At the initial fitting our tailor will establish what you require from the suit, take a variety of measurements and help you select fabrics and the individual details of your bespoke suit. Several weeks later our tailor will return for a fitting to check all the measurements. Any adjustments are made and the suit returned within two weeks ready to wear. Once you have decided to invest in your wardrobe, a bespoke tailor will be permanently assigned to you and he will oversee all of your purchases and manage your account for you. If necessary he will advise you on where to buy the best shirts, ties and shoes to go with your suit. 

Construction:
At Jasper Littman we believe in incorporating only the highest quality materials in our suits. All of our suits, whether bespoke or semi bespoke, are either three quarter horsehair canvassed or fully canvassed. Our suits are all stitched together. Nothing inside is fused or glued. Inside the lapel for example, lengths of horse's tail are woven into the canvas and this makes the suit more springy and resilient, and helps it to keep its shape. 

It takes time and expertise to make a suit properly, and it must be made using only the finest components if it’s going to keep its shape for any length of time. As the UK has the worst record for dry cleaning in Europe, suits need to be made increasingly stronger to withstand such abuse.
 

Style:
We believe that the silhouette or 'cut' of a suit is an absolutely crucial factor in creating an elegant suit that will leave an impression. A good silhouette is about balance. Our cut has been developed and improved over several years to create a flattering appearance whilst still adhering to the general principles of a Savile Row traditionally tailored suit. Note the slight curve at the waist, designed to make you look slimmer. The raised buttoning position and slightly narrowed lapels are typical of a Savile Row suit. These features help to draw attention to the chest, creating a more masculine profile. It is important to remember however, that these suits are made personally to fit each client, so it's up to you whether the curve at the jacket waist is subtle or more aggressive. Use our guidance, but in the end, make the suit your own.
