only one minute to the beach. The closest private jet airport is La Môle
(15 km) or Nice / Cote d'Azur International Airport (90 km), which can
be reached by helicopter in 20 minutes, taxi or rental car. For those preferring
the train, the closest train Station is Saint- Raphaël (35 km). When
you come by car make sure you have a proper road map or navigation system
as the Château de la Messardière is not easy to find, which
also has its advantages.
History:
Château de la Messardière is a folly of a French Chateau with
some light Arabic design elements to enhance it. The French artist Victoire
de la Messardière was born in Bouches-du-Rhône. Saint-Tropez
was where her ancestors' castle is situated and which has now been converted
into a grand hotel, but carries her family's name today. Her own works
of art create a unique character and give a special highlight to the interior
of the beautiful château. The beauty of this site with its private
hillside park, with many beautiful old trees, full of scents and breathtaking
views, its discreet and refined luxury, the huge swimming pool (24x12 m)
overlooking the sea and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez provides a haven of peace
and relaxation. All in all, Château de la Messardière is a

Rooms
and Suites: The rooms and suites are all situated in the Château
itself or within the estate, and all have their own personal charm and
each view is unique. The Double Rooms range from Classic Rooms, Superior
Rooms and Deluxe Rooms, the latter two with either a terrace or a balcony.
Prestige Rooms have a large private terrace. Junior Suites have either
garden or sea views, and are about the double size of a Double Room. Jacuzzis
are included from the Gulf Suite upwards, which also have magnificent views
over the Gulf of St Tropez. The Suite du Parc is the largest suite with
about 200 square metres and has a private entrance and car parc. All rooms
impeccable and have a superb room service which is very friendly and helpful,
fulfilling all your wishes. And for those who are busy, the entire château
including the pool area is fully connected with wireless internet connection.
Restaurants
and Bars: The top restaurant Les 3 Saisons with its terrace,
which has a beautiful view over the Bay of Pampelonne, is only open for
dinner. The splendid setting, the excellent service and the refined cuisine
with Mediterranean savours, created by Patrick Cuissard, the Chef, make
the visit a truly memorable and romantic experience. There is also Pool-Terrace
for summer luncheons and light cuisine such as Mediterranean salads or
traditional club-sandwiches. The Reading-Salon is the ideal place
to meet friends in a cosy, refined and elegant atmosphere for afternoon
tea or after dinner. Alternatively, the Castle-Bar offers an ideal

only a few hundred meters away, provides all the pleasures of the Mediterranean
sea. There is a free hotel shuttle-service available 24 hours a day and
it takes only one minute to drop you at Tropezina beach. There is a large
choice of water sports is available: water-skiing, jet-ski or cruises on
